About us
- OBS Technology AS was established in 1984 under the name Ottestad Breathing Systems AS. Our mission was then to develop and produce breathing equipment for deep diving. The need for deep diving equipment was decreased at the same rate as ROW came on the market.
- Today OBS Technology AS are working primarily as a problem solver for the industry when it comes to construct special pneumatic and hydraulic regulators. Based on patented solutions we endel standardized products for pressure and flow control of gas and liquid. It is especially power based control technology that is OBS Technology’s area of expertise.
- Our main customers are oil industry, professional diving companies, and defense. Recently, we have also increasingly become a subcontractor and / or partner to major technology companies in particular working towards the offshore industry. We have our own workshop for prototype development, and we base our production mainly on deliveries from subcontractors.
